Let's have a change!


Mr. George Paul who was born at Kuruppampady near Perumbavoor from an ancient orthodox family now residing at Ernakulam. Mr. Paul is serving as the Vice President of our Kolenchery Medical College which was established in 1970. He was a former member of the managing committee of MOSC and ex-trustee of St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral Ernakulam. He is the Vice Chairman of Synthite group of industries. He is a well known TV debater and known for his  firm views on Swasraya.  He is also the Syndicate member of Cochin University (CUSAT).

George Paul is the Managing Director of Synthite Industries Ltd, the world‟s largest oleoresin company and Director of its subsidiary companies Herbal Isolates (P) Ltd, Symega Flavours India (P) Ltd, Intergrow Foods & Beverages Pvt. Ltd and Synthite Exports Ltd. Synthite has won four National awards from the Hon‟ble President of India for outstanding export performance. The CSR arm of Synthite, CVJ Foundation is proactively contributing to the welfare of the people locally and among the farming community nationally. A graduate in Natural Science from Kerala University, he has been spearheading the Synthite group right from its inception in 1972. His various stints in trade bodies like the International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades, London, (Active Director), Association of British Scholars (Patron, Kochi Chapter), All India Spices Exporters‟ Forum (Former Chairman), Indian Council of Agricultural Research Ltd, American Management Association(Member), CII- Kerala State Council and Indo American Chamber of Commerce (Former President- South India Council) has resulted in him being an advocate of change for the Indian oleoresin industry at large. He is also a Syndicate member of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) as an expert from the field of Industry & Commerce. On a personal level, George is very passionate about improving the quality of education in the country and is the chairman of St. Mary‟s Educational Society in Delhi, Treasurer of Vidyodaya School, Kochi, Director of Global Academy for Education and Training, Kochi and Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery. He is serving on the advisory board of Berchmans Institute of Management Studies, Changanachery, as a member of the Governing Board, for Indira Institute of Business Management, Mumbai and also as a member of Academic Council, St. Teresa‟s College, an autonomous educational institution in Kochi. He is currently serving as the vice chairman of the Industrial Advisory Board at Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies.
